Readers' Choice: Nominate the 'Best Kept Secret'

Patch has spent the last week asking for nominations about known commodities. We want to to know the best Italian restaurant, or the best Happy Hour, or the best dry cleaner.

But what about the little store that doesn't fit into those other categories, or maybe a place that's great because it's so unknown? That's fine if it's a Best Place to Pop the Question, but if it's a business—well, Patch would like to give them the props they deserve because every business owner wants to make money.

So Patch has created the category for Best-Kept Secret, that diamond in the rough—or maybe it's a needle in a haystack—that deserves to be better known. 

Maybe it's a place such as Habanos del Lago, which provides a place to smoke cigars indoors, or the graphics place that still develops film? Maybe it's the restaurant under new ownership that is better than the restaurant under old ownership. Or perhaps it's the place that sells healthy pizza, or the quaint gift shop or the place for kids to make those personalized presents for Father's Day. Maybe it's the library's reading hour.

Nominate these best-kept secrets until July 9, when we will take your suggestions and put them into a poll to help get the Patch Readers Choice Awards 2012.
