Last Saturday, Nov. 2, more than 50 athletes, a few fit kids and a dog hiked over the hill from Aliso Viejo with backpacks filled with nonperishables for the Laguna Food Pantry on Laguna Canyon Road. The "Hike for Hunger" walkers were from CrossFit Reform of Rancho Santa Margarita and Aliso Viejo's Aliso CrossFit. They hiked five miles to donate 1,000 pounds of food for those most in need. The Pantry provides supplemental food to people who live, work, and attend school in Laguna Beach. www.lagunafoodpantry.org
