Students from Tesoro High School, Trabuco Hills High School and Santa Margarita Catholic High School will compete in the following categories: male classical, female classical, male musical theater and female musical theater. The selected winner from each category will receive a monetary award and advance to compete against winners from other Rotary Club vocal contests at the District Semi Finals on March 15 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Orange. The top three performers in each division will then compete in Finals at the same location on March 22.

“We are always excited to host an event where students can be recognized and encouraged for their talents,” said Rotary Club of Coto de Caza/Rancho Santa Margarita del Sol President Derek Godfrey. “The student vocalists are extremely gifted, with most continuing to pursue their musical and theatrical aspirations in college – making the Vocal Contest one of the highlights on the Rotary Club calendar each year.”
