Tesoro Swimmer Inks With SLO

Jeffrey Wynkoop of Rancho Santa Margarita, a senior at Tesoro High School has signed his Letter of Intent  to swim and study Mechanical Engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Jeffrey is a 4-year Varsity swimmer for Tesoro. He is the Tesoro record holder in the 100 backstroke (50:36) having an undefeated season in the South Coast League 100 backstroke for the 2013 season. He is also a team record participant in both the 200 Medley Relay (1:38.03) and the 400 Freestyle Relay (3:07.76). Out of the pool, Wynkoop is active in community activities through his involvement with National Honor Society, Lions Heart Service Organization and as a member of the Junior Board of Directors for the Jesse Rees Foundation. Aside from these activities, Wynkoop maintains a 4.4 GPA and has been named an AP Scholar with Distinction.
