'Be Careful What You Wish For,' Mayor Says

Councilman Jesse Petrilla wants to participate in the city budget via long distance, Patch aims content at mom, and Russians.

There were more questions than answers at the Rancho Santa Margarita City Council on Wednesday night as Jesse Petrilla tried to convince his colleagues to allow him to "attend" meetings for the city and the budget via teleconference while he's training with the California Army National Guard in Fort Knox, KY. Trying to do so could be very difficult as the councilmen go line-by-line "accounting for every penny," said Mayor Tony Beall. "Be careful what you wish for."
