Summertime is in full swing, and we've got something for kids of all ages this week.

LIBRARY LUNCH BUNCH

Why Go: Third through fifth graders will enjoy hearing the story How to Steal a Dog read aloud by Barbara O’Connor. Bring a pillow and lunch; dessert will be provided. Call ahead to reserve your spot.

FREE SUMMER CONCERT

Why Go: Bring the whole family down for an evening of fun and entertainment as the sun goes down. Neon Nation will be performing 80’s cover hits this week. Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and arrive early for a good spot.

OC FAIR KIDS DAYS

Where/When: OC Fairgrounds, 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa. Kids days Thursdays; fair open noon to midnight.

Why Go: “Let’s Eat!” is this year’s annual OC Fair’s theme; save on admission and keep the change for some chocolate covered bacon. Thursdays are Kids Days at the OC Fair, which means kids 12 and under get in for FREE! $25 wristbands for unlimited rides are also available on Kids Days; sold until 5 p.m.

TSPOONS TEEN COOKING CLASSES

Where/When: Tspoons Culinary School, 6 Gilly Flower, Ladera Ranch. Monday, July 25 thru Wednesday, July 27. 2-5:30 p.m.

Why Go: Teens age 13-17 will love this unique , three-day culinary experience at Tspoons. They will have a chance to make a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes from scratch, including some all time favorite pastries and desserts. Each day, they will learn how to prepare four different dishes, and on the last day, they will have a chance to create their own signature dish and showcase it for the rest of the class. Pre-registration is required; classes fill up quickly.

Pricing: $165 per teen.
