Grab 'n Go Kids Planner: Wild Animals, Magic School Bus and Pumpkin Fun

Have post-Halloween letdown? We've got five fun ways to ring in the fall spirit this weekend.

MEDIEVAL ANIMAL RESCUE CHARITY FAIRE AND SHOW

Where/When: OC Fairgrounds, 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa. Sunday, November 6, 9-5 p.m.

Why Go:  All proceeds from this special fundraiser and silent auction will go to animal rescue. Kids can enjoy a fun day of Imperial Knights jousting, sword fighting, animal demonstrations and more. Some showcased animals will be available for adoption.

Why Go: The whole family will enjoy these bi-annual family nature workshops at this huge wildlife preserve. Learn about cougars, bobcats, coyotes, hawks, plants and much more. Reservations required.

DISCOVERY SCIENCE CENTER PUMPKIN LAUNCH

Where/When: Cal State Fullerton Titan Stadium, 800 N State College Blvd, Fullerton. Saturday, November 5, 7-2 p.m.

Why Go: Come down and join one of the most anticipated kids’ fall events of the year! Event includes marshmallow catapult contest, rocket building, carved pumpkin contest, paper airplane building, live science shows and food from the top eight gourmet food trucks in the Southland.

MAGIC SCHOOL BUS: LIVE!
