Heroes of Every Type Get Highlighted Today

1. 2. Patch attended the fundraiser Tuesday at to help raise money for the RSM family of Diana Leung, an 18-year-old with inoperable brain cancer. We took some pictures, talked to some nice folks—including Diana's grandparents—and expect to have a gallery posted later this afternoon.

3. Throughout the day, RSM Patch will have content geared to moms who are looking to do things with their kids, and looking to get a break from their kids. Check back periodically.

4. There have been many incidents of kids throwing items at vehicles, and recently a water balloon hit a moving vehicle and shattered the windshield. That may not be the highlight of the , though: A TV was held hostage by a TV repairman. Seriously.

For What it's Worth: It's National Bird Feeding Month, and National Second-hand Wardrobe Week.  It's also Kyoto Protocol Day, which has to do with the reduction of greenhouse gases; surprisingly, it's the only "holiday" attached to Feb. 16.
