Moms Talk: To Speak Up or Shut Up, That is the Question

Check out the latest gab from moms who have been there, done that. Then let us know what YOU think!

Each week, Moms Talk looks at a question about parenting and invites discussion. Agree or disagree, throw in your two cents!

Q: A little girl my daughter often plays with has been acting up lately, saying mean things, being rough with other kids on the playground, grabbing things out of my daughter's hands without asking (she's 4). Her mom is there most of the time this happens and says nothing. Is it my place to say something or should we just find a new sandbox to play in?

A: Depends on how close you are with this girl and her mom. If you feel comfortable, I'd speak up nicely. If she still ignores the issues, you might be better off on the monkey bars down the street. At 4, kids make new friends fast!
