1. Several businesses are on the move in Rancho Santa Margarita, including Tutto Fresco Trattoria. Don’t worry, the dining institution is just moving down the street. We'll have that and other business happenings later today.

2. Travis Christopher Unholz, a Trabuco Canyon sheriff's deputy, has had his law enforcement career effectively ended after his conviction of misdemeanor domestic abuse. It wasn’t the abuse that did it, though. Learn why .

3. Weddings aren’t a very efficient use of money. Well, some weddings. has nothing but props for a wedding that’s so over the top that it’s definitely worth writing about—provided John Weyler can find his laptop.

On this date in history, March 1, 1932, the baby of American hero Charles Lindbergh was kidnapped, capturing the attention of the world and even Al Capone, who offered to help from prison; a few days later, after a $70,000 ransom was paid, the baby was found dead. In 1872, Yellowstone became the country’s first national park under a bill signed by President Ulysses S. Grant. In 1961, the Peace Corps was formed under President John F. Kennedy. In 1781, the Articles of Confederation, the precursor to the U.S. Constitution, was ratified. In 1692, the Salem Witch Hunt began, which led to the execution of 19 innocents before ending in October under the command of the Massachusetts governor.

5. Among those born on Feb. 29 are Antonio Sabato Jr. (39), Tony Robbins (51) and the late Dinah Shore (1916) and Jimmy Dorsey (1904). Those celebrating birthdays on March 1 are Roger Daltrey (67), Ron Howard (57), Robert Conrad (76), Harry Belafonte (84), Dirk Benedict (66), Alan Thicke (64), Mark-Paul  Gosselaar (37), Jensen Ackles (33) and Justin Bieber (17). Others include the late Pink Panther, David Niven (1910), announcer Harry Caray (1914) and bandleader Glenn Miller (1904).
