Rain Falls On RSM—For A Few Minutes

There is no measurable precipitation. Weekend forecast calls for a drop in temperature of 11 degrees.

There have been some impressive cloud formations the last few days over Rancho Santa Margarita, but it wasn't until Friday that Mother Nature finally watered the lawn.

About five minutes of rain came down in RSM at about 1 p.m.

According to Weather Underdround, there was no measurable precipitation, but there was visual proof, provided by the photos of Craig Takata of raindrops splashing into Lago Santa Margarita.

Friday's high temperature was 96 degrees, 23 more than the average for Sept. 6. It was the hottest day of the week, but the forecast calls for Saturday and Sunday to be 85 degrees, with high temperatures dropping into the 70s on Monday.
