Remembering 9/11: Lisa Frost Memorial

Residents, those who knew the Frosts and those who didn't, show up at the marker dedicated to those who have lost their children to pay their respects.

Some showed up on the edge of Lake Santa Margarita to pay their respects to a woman they did not know. Others knew her family. And some knew Lisa.

On Sunday, the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks on the United States, the memorial of Lisa Anne Frost was a popular destination.

Frost, 22, was killed when United Flight 175 slammed into the World Trade Center while en route from Boston to Los Angeles. A Rancho Santa Margarita resident, a salutatorian at Trabuco Hills High and a valedictorian at Boston University, Frost was coming home that day before beginning a job in the San Francisco area.
