Singing Pumpkin Is Up In Lights—Again

The Talega residence transforms into a Halloween light show suitable for all ages Thursday through Sunday in October.

The big pumpkin will sing again.

The annual Halloween Light Show presented by local resident Scott Johnson returns to Rancho Santa Margarita in 2012 with performances throughout October.

The residence, located at 8 Talega in RSM, will feature performances Thursday through Sunday, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Shows run every half hour, and will run the full week of Halloween.

It's free, and it's suitable for all ages.

"The most gratifying part is seeing all the people come by to enjoy something that I have created, seeing how it makes people happy," Johnson said.

Since his last Halloween display, Johnson was hired at Disney in the technical services department, where he works on shows backstage. 

This year's show will include some new faces added to the performance.

As for what's next, Johnson is unsure: "I guess the sky's the limit."
