Two E-Waste Events Saturday

Residents have a couple of options for disposing of TVs, computers, cables and the like.

Have an old TV, computer or their cables laying around collecting dust?

Local residents have a couple of options Saturday for getting rid of electronic junk.

Drop off unwanted e-waste such as computer monitors, laptops, cell phones, and other electronic items during a recycling event in the Rancho Santa Margarita City Hall parking lot.

Document Shredding will also be provided for free. Up to 10 standard size storage boxes of personal documents per household or business will be accepted.

Event runs 8 a.m. to noon. No household or kitchen appliances, or fluorescent tubes will be accepted.

For more information, contact Lawrence Jones at 714-372-8261 or read more here.

For those who want their e-waste to benefit a program, Tesoro High Lacrosse is sponsoring an event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., also on Saturday. Drop-off is in the Senior Lot.

Contact Tessa Will at 949-545-7621 with any questions.
