Weather Could Make Noise Today and Tonight

Thunderstorms are possible in this latest storm, which had dropped almost 3/4th of a an inch by 3 a.m.

Rain that began about 9 p.m. on Friday in Rancho Santa Margarita is expected to continue through Saturday. Periods of heavy rain during the storm front that drenched Southern California could bring thunderstorms sometime after 10 a.m.

The chance of thurnderstorms will continue through the night with patchy frost after 4 a.m. on Sunday. Wind gusts could be as high as 25 mph.

According to the Weather Channel, as of 2:38 a.m. on Saturday morning, RSM had received 0.72 inches of rain with wind blowing 11 mph with gusts to 21 mph. The temperature was 43 degrees but expected to drop to 42.

It should be  mostly clear on Sunday night and sunny on Monday with a high of 59.
