Singing House Belts Out Christmas Tunes

Scott Johnson, the college student who created the singing pumpkin house, lights up his neighborhood for Christmas.

followed up his , featuring a singing pumpkin and ghosts that shoot into the air, with another holiday based performance at his residence.

The house is at 8 Talega in Rancho Santa Margarita, and having an FM radio will prove helpful; the music is synced to 106.9 FM. More than 20,000 lights make up the display.

Six Christmas songs are included in the performance, which begin every 30 minutes nightly between 5 and 10 p.m.through Dec. 31.

There are a couple of musical performances from the movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas, as well as the theme to National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and songs by Big Bad VooDoo Daddy, Michael Buble and David Foster, the latter being "Carol of the Bells."
