Chamber of Commerce Ushers In New Focus Tonight

With new leadership and a new name, the Rancho Santa Margarita Chamber of Commerce celebrates itself on Tuesday. The public is invited.

The Rancho Santa Margarita Chamber of Commerce ushers in a new direction, as well as cuts the ribbon on its new name, tonight at Penske Toyota.

The Chamber, which was formerly known as the RSM Business Alliance, has rebranded and refocused under the guidance of president Suzanne Singh.

"It's more than just a name change, it's new leadership, relationships developed with business leaders, city officials and staff and the ability to do a fantastic job for the business community," Singh said. "Our goal is to grow, provide more opportunities for the local business community to meet and keep business happening here in RSM."

The complimentary wine and cheese party begins at 5:30 p.m., and is expected to draw business and community leaders over the course of two hours in what will likely be one of the biggest business gatherings of the year for the organization.

"I truly believe that by offering networking opportunities, business educational forums, city government communication and education, and listening to the needs of the business community we can make a difference here in RSM," Singh said. "The relationships we've been cultivating in the community are huge and help us reach our direction and focus. We are being able to connect needs and resources to keep the community strong."
