Tesla Motors Opens Friday in Mission Viejo Mall
The sporty electric Tesla will be available for test drives when a showroom opens at The Shops at Mission Viejo.
California-based Tesla Motors plans to open its 2,984-square foot store at The Shops at Mission Viejo Friday.
Tesla, a sporty electric car, will be located in the upper level near Center Court across from the Microsoft store.
The store will include a design studio where customers can create their own Tesla. Accessories with the Tesla brand will be available for purchase.
A Tesla Model S will be available for test driving, too. The company is converting six spots in the parking garage off Marguerite Parkway with charging stations to accommodate the store's test-drive vehicles.
Here are some more details about the test drives from the Tesla website:
- Appointments will be confirmed by a Tesla representative. Test drive appointments are available to prospective customers.
- Your driving session will be 15 minutes long over a predetermined route designed to highlight the capabilities of Model S.
- A Tesla Product Specialist will accompany all drives to ensure you optimize your time in Model S.
- You may bring up to three guests to ride in the back seat during your drive.
