Black Friday—And Earlier—Deals in Rancho Santa Margarita

You don't have to wait until midnight on Thursday to begin shopping. Many stores are offering online deals to help beat the rush and avoid the crowd. But here are store hours for some larger retailers.

Ready. Set. Go shopping! That's the mentality heading into Thanksgiving as savvy shoppers prepare to get Christmas shopping out of the way.

Some of the larger retail stores in Rancho Santa Margarita will have special hours this holiday weekend, and many companies are offering sales online so that customers can avoid the lines that have become synonymous with Black Friday.

The longest line in town last year was at Target, which this year is opening its doors Thursday at 9 p.m., and won't close until 11 p.m. on Friday. Check out this story to see practically everyone in line (nine minutes of people passing the camera).

Kohl's, which had the second-longest line a year ago on a cold night, will be open for a full 24 hours beginning Friday at midnight.

Kohl's has "Operation Black Friday" with online deals beginning Wednesday, 1 p.m. Receive $15 in "Kohl's Cash" for every $50 spent which is redeemable Nov. 26-Dec.3

Sears Appliance Showroom offers doorbusters that are good on Thanksgiving, then more on Black Friday and through the weekend.

Big Lots has a one-day Thanksgiving sale, and then opens 6 a.m. for Black Friday, which lasts until 11 p.m.

Tilly's is advertising its Gift-a-geddon, and the first 100 customers 14 and over on Nov. 23, will receive a wristband worth a gift card; 97 are for $10, and there's one each for $25, $50 and $100.
