My "Chinese" wife was amazed that everybody just seemed to know what to do at intersections where all the lights were out. She said that in China it would have been total chaos at every cross street! Everyone trying to go at once!

I've been to China, it already is total chaos at ever intersection! They all honk and as they all inch through the intersection whether there's a traffic light or not! Most times there are nine!
