This is like the "Downton Abbey" of 1st Century Rome.

Come on alternating Sunday evenings to hear author and New Testament scholar, Dr. Jerry Camery-Hoggatt, present a dramatic reading of his recently completed innovative novel--a fact-based fictional story about an extended family of characters who come together to discuss the Gospel as Mark is writing it.  These diverse characters each have their own gripping life story-lines, steeped in the history and culture of 1st-century Rome.

It will be an entertaining, edgy, and unique opportunity to "go deep" in the study of Mark's Gospel.  Truly this will be a Bible Study like none other.  During each session, Jerry will present three segments of the novel--reading aloud for approx. 20 min., then 10 min. of "Q & A" with the group (x3).

All men, women, young adults, and interested h.s. students are welcome. Childcare available, if requested in advance.
