Snatching Defeat From The Jaws Of Victory

The Progressive Lie, of government knowing best, has failed the test of time over the last 5 years. The rich are richer, the poor are poorer. Our status in the world has declined along with the average income of the middle class.

Recent admissions by “scientists and activists” admit global warming stopped years ago. One of the founders of the Green movement wrote, claims were exaggerated, and the movement has turned into more of a political issue than a movement to save the planet.

Citizens have come to realize they were sold “the Brooklyn Bridge” by Progressives pushing the Affordable Care Act.

Everything is in place for the Republicans to seize the Senate and grow their majority in the House. The Progressives have turned to division, race and class warfare in an attempt to save their cause. People are now aware these are diversions and not solutions. There is only one thing that stands in the way of a sweeping Republican Victory…Republicans.

There is a division between Conservatives and the Establishment Republican Party. This division has the potential to throw the 2014 election back into the hands of the Progressives with their increasingly militant, authoritarian programs. Progressive programs designed to control what you eat, where you live, your qualifications to receive medical treatment, and when you can use your air conditioner. We now understand, there is no limit to what these well-meaning Nannies will try to control.

I welcome the fight shaping up in the coming primary election. I plan to spend my time and money supporting conservatives who believe in smaller government, lower taxes, less regulation and a strong belief in States Rights.

However, after the primaries are fought, and the general election comes around, it will be time to band together and vote for every candidate with an R next to their name. We may have to hold our noses, we may have to swallow hard and we may have an ache in our heart. We cannot have another two years of Progressive Adventurism into Social Planning, by people without enough skills to start a website.

Who among us believe Mitt Romney would have been worse for this country than Barrack Obama? Who believes Sharron Angle would have caused more damage than Senator Harry Reid? We may not get the candidates we want. We WILL get candidates closer to our beliefs than any progressive. I appreciate voting for the best Republican goes against the beliefs of conservative purists who have specific requirements.

This country needs a win for the average working person. Progressives have proved to be the party of the rich and a haven for Crony Capitalism. By voting for those Republican candidates who survive the primary elections, we assure ourselves of slowing the slide toward socialism. The best program for the poor is a job. The best health insurance program is the one you can afford. The best solution for decaying cities is economic growth. Ronald Reagan was right, “Government is not the answer… Government is the problem.” The answer is a strong economy lifting all boats. Less regulation will encourage more people to take a chance and open a business, hire people and create growth. A smaller government will move money from Bureaucrats, with a one size fits all plan, and move money to the individual making decisions based on their family needs.

The great experiment with Progressive Government has proven a failure. It all sounded so good, it all went so bad. Let’s have a great battle for the Republican Heart in the primary. Once the votes are cast, we must join together to save our Country. Our only chance is to vote Republican in the general election.
