Per Pupil Spending K-12

The State of California spends $75.9 Billion ($45.1 billion General Fund and $30.8 billion other funds) for all K-12 Education programs.

The State of California serves 6 million students  in K-12.

That is $12,650 per student.

Why does CUSD only receive $6,773 per student?
