Bomb Threat at Walmart Neighborhood Grocery

After a phone conversation goes bad, a threat is revealed.

Orange County Sheriff's deputies were called to Walmart Neighborhood Grocery on Tuesday after being told of a bomb threat.

According to the blotter of the Orange County Sheriff's Department, the threat was made over the phone to an employee.

A man called the business requesting information on a Moneygram transaction. When the informant told the man that she doesn't give out that information over the phone, the subject allegedly said a bomb may be under her vehicle.

The phone call came from a private number.

The call was made Tuesday, 6:11 p.m., 30400 block of Las Flores.

This report was culled from the Orange County Sheriff's website. Not all facts in each report are made public; the outcome of the report, as well as the facts, may differ from the original blotter item. All items are alleged to have occurred.
