A Rancho Santa Margarita man complained about loud music coming from a nearby home. According to the blotter of the OCSD, the man originally wanted to remain anonymous, then thought better of it and advised the desk he was going to confront the neighbors himself.

About 15 minutes later, the man called back to report that the neighbor began yelling at him when he approached about the noise.

Still, the man's complaint about the loud music apparently did not fall on deaf ears. When deputies arrived at the noisy residence Monday at 2:20 a.m., there was no answer at the door but there was no music, either.

The original call from the 200 block of Aliento came at 1:52 a.m.
