Did You Feel It? Quake Shakes Inland Empire, Orange County

A 4.1 earthquake centered near Yucaipa rattles the Southland.

A 4.1 magnitude earthquake near Yucaipa shook Southern California at about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Caltech Seismological Laboratory.

The temblor, part of a complicated series of faults in the area near the Banning and San Jacinto faults, struck at 7:44, about six miles south southwest of Yucaipa and 10.5 miles below the earth's surface.

The U.S. Geological Survey asks that you report your experience with the earthquake on its site.
