Dogs Break Away to Attempt Attack, Allegedly

Incident takes place near Robinson Rancho Elementary School.

A woman sought refuge behind a monument sign in Rancho Santa Margarita after dogs tried to attack her pets, she said.

According the blotter of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, the incident took place Saturday morning in the parking lot of Robinson Ranch Elementary.

The informant called on police services to say two dogs had escaped from their residence and were trying to attack the informant’s dogs.

The woman hid behind a monument sign. A passerby happened on the scene and tried to fend off the dogs. Animal control was notified.

About eight minutes after the call, the loose dogs were secured in their residence.

The call was made Saturday, 9:35 a.m., from the 21400 block of Lindsay Drive.
