Elderly Woman Rescued by Husband From Pool
Event took place about 10:30 p.m.; she is in serious condition.

A woman in her 70s was hospitalized in serious condition today after being rescued from a swimming pool.
The woman had been in the pool for about 15 minutes when she was rescued by her husband, around 10:30 p.m. Friday, according to Orange County Fire Authority Captain Larry Kurtz.

The pool was in the backyard of a residence on the 32000 block of Coppercrest Drive in Rancho Santa Margarita, Kurtz said.
