Forsberg Preliminary Hearing Delayed Until June 10

Rancho Santa Margarita man is accused of killing his wife, Marcia Forsberg, 15 months ago.

The case of Richard Gustav Forsberg continues to move along slowly. A preliminary hearing date on Monday was continued until June 10.

Attorneys were in Orange County Superior Court on Monday. The Orange County district attorney was expected to provide evidence in an effort to convince a judge that Forsberg should face a murder trial.

, Marcia, and lying about her whereabouts for six months. He remains in custody without bond.

Forsberg, 62, has been charged with murdering Marcia Ann Forsberg on Feb. 9, 2010. He has pleaded not guilty. Forsberg, represented by Robert Viefhaus, is facing one count of murder with special circumstances of lying in wait, which could make him eligible for the death penalty.

Police allege that Richard Forsberg by telling friends that his wife was out of state and, later, that the couple had separated.
