Man Accused of Committing Sex Crimes Against Kids

Michael Clair Glines, 52, has been linked to four alleged victims in Trabuco Canyon.

A Trabuco Canyon man was being held on $1 million bail following his arrest last week on suspicion of sex-related crimes against children under age 10. Authorities believe there may be more victims.

Michael Clair Glines, 52, was arrested by the Orange County Sheriff's Department Special Victims Detail on July 17 at about 8:15 p.m.

Glines was taken into custody for alleged lewd and lascivious acts upon children. He has a criminal history that includes an arrest for possession of drugs and drunk driving, officials said.

To date, the Orange County Sheriff’s Special Victims Detail Investigators have identified four victims, both male and female. Sheriff’s officials believe the alleged acts occurred between 2010 and 2012 at or near Glines’ residence in Robinson Ranch. 

Glines lives near a school and some parks, and investigators feel there may be additional victims and are asking for the public’s help.
