Man Allegedly Threatens Wife with Knife

He storms off before police arrive.

A family dispute got a little dicey last weekend.

A woman called the Orange County Sheriff's Department to let it know her husband had allegedly threatened her.

According to the OCSD blotter, the woman called 9-1-1 on Sunday, 11:12 p.m., and claimed she and her husband had a physical altercation. She also reported the man had a knife and had threatened to kill her.

About three minutes into the  call, the 41-year-old husband—who had been in the garage while the wife made the call to police—drove away from their residence. The woman said her husband's knife was a pocket knife, and alleged her husband was on some type of drug or medication; she also said he had attempted to take her phone from her.

The woman refused medical attention.

This report was were culled from the Orange County Sheriff's website. Not all facts in each report are made public; the outcome of the report may differ from the original blotter item. There should be no assumption of guilt based on this limited information.
