Man Arrested, Should Have Been Watching Football

A recently convicted felon, apparently not thankful for privacy, is taken into custody for indecent exposure.

By Martin Henderson

Apparently, football wasn't enough of a good thing for a man in a Rancho Santa Margarita apartment complex.

According to the blotter of the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Simone Paul Khein, 37, was taken into custody around noontime after allegedly committing indecent exposure.

According to the blotter, Khein was standing at the window inside a residence masturbating while watching the informant and her friend; although he evnentually closed the drapes, he continued to watch the pair as they reached out to the sheriff's department.

Deputies arrived on the scene and made contact with the suspect; he was taken to the Intake/Release Center in Santa Ana.

The call was made Thursday, 10:47 a.m., from the Villa La Paz apartment complex on Amistosa.

It's not the first run-in Khein has had with law enforcement.

Over the summer, Khein pled guilty to three felonies, including criminal threats and recklessly starting a fire, which caused more than $400 in damage. In 2004, Khein was found guilty of receiving a stolen vehicle and evading an officer, which included a chase that reached more than 100 mph.

This report was culled from the Orange County Sheriff's website. Not all facts in each report are made public; the outcome of the report and its actual facts may differ from the original blotter item. There should be no assumption of guilt based on this limited information.
