A 44-year-old man riding a motorcycle was killed when he struck a tree in Trabuco Canyon, the Coroner’s Office said Sunday.
The man was later identified as John Minor, a resident of Silverado, according to a department statement.

The crash on Santiago Canyon Road, south of Silverado Canyon Road, was reported to the CHP at 1:29 a.m. Saturday, according to the statement.
Minor died at the scene.
