OCFA Douses Late-Night Fire

Orange County Fire Authority gets called to Dove Canyon for a fire shortly before 1 a.m. on Monday.

A small brush fire burned near the community pool in Dove Canyon early Monday morning.

According to the blotter of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, the blaze may been ignited with some cardboard in the reserve area behind the pool, about a quarter-mile from the security guard shack.

The fire was extinguished within 25 minutes of the call from security to emergency services.

Orange County Fire Authority indicated arson was not suspected.

The call was made Monday, 12:46 a.m., from the 32000 block of Dove Canyon Drive.
