Police Blotter: Angry Neighbor Threatens Woman and Her Dog

Also, a woman sees an alien outside of her window, a man yells obscenities at drivers, and a woman said her neighbor's over-zealous watering is destroying her garden.

A Las Flores woman said her next-door neighbor came to her house and threatened her Wednesday afternoon. The neighbor, a man, apparently told her that “her dog was next.” 

The woman said she has been in a lengthy struggle with this neighbor about her dog, which annoys the man. She thinks he threatened her because she recently won a court case against him.

The call came in around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, from the 100 block of Seacountry Lane.

Woman sees an alien taking a stroll outside of her kitchen window

A woman claimed she saw an alien walking outside of the kitchen window of her RSM residence around midnight on Tuesday. The woman, who seemed mentally unstable according to the police report, said her mother is being controlled by this alien because she hadn’t seen her mom sleep in years.

The call came in around midnight on Tuesday, from Carmesi.

Man wearing hospital scrubs screams obscenities at drivers

A caller wanted deputies to find a deranged-looking man he saw riding his mountain bike on the wrong side of Avenida Empresa Tuesday morning. The man, who appeared to be in his 50s, was wearing hospital scrubs and camouflage pants, and was yelling obscenities at drivers on the road.

The call came in around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, from Santa Margarita Parkway and Avenida Empresa.

Neighbor says over-zealous watering is destroying her garden

A Coto de Caza woman said that her neighbor has been continually over-watering his yard, which has been flooding her garden. The woman insisted that the man was doing this on purpose to destroy her yard, and wanted deputies to do something about it.

The call came in around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, from the 31300 block of Summerhill Court.

The following is a summary report of calls from Rancho Santa Margarita, Coto de Caza, Trabuco Canyon and Las Flores to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from May 2 to May 5.

Suspicious Person in Vehicle 7:08 a.m. Thursday, on Mesquite. A woman said two teen-aged boys park their Hyundai Genesis in front of her home every morning before school and smoke marijuana in the vehicle. 

Trespassing 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, 19300 block of Live Oak Canyon Road. A woman said she saw movement outside of one of her windows, and could hear a person walking in the woods behind her home.

Shots Heard 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, on Antonio Parkway and Benjamin Drive. A woman heard two shots being fired somewhere near her residence.

Disturbance-Music or Party 10:33 p.m. Tuesday, 900 block of Sable. A caller complained about loud people in the community pool. 

Disturbance-Music or Party 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, on San Marco and Santa Agatha. A caller said people were in the community pool after it had closed and were screaming.

Citizen Assist 8:13 p.m. Tuesday, 21000 block of Los Alisos Boulevard. A woman said her 15-year-old daughter sent a video to one of her male friends, and the boy is now threatening to send this video to other friends.

Suspicious Person/Circumstances 2:53 p.m. Tuesday, on Via Amistosa. A caller said three teen-aged boys were drinking alcohol outside of her apartment.

Citizen Assist 10:13 a.m. Tuesday, on Via Barcaza. A woman said that she has been receiving “scam” phone calls. 

Disturbance 8:21 a.m. Tuesday, on Antonio Parkway and Oso Parkway. A caller saw a man in a white Honda Civic try to run a woman in a compact car off the road. The caller said it appeared like the driver of the Civic was experiencing a bad case of road rage.

Firework Violation 12:56 a.m. Tuesday, 22700 block of El Prado. An informant saw people throwing fireworks off their balcony.

Welfare Check 3:43 p.m. Monday, on Santa Margarita Parkway and Antonio Parkway. A caller saw a drunken man walking on the Santa Margarita Parkway Bridge.

Citizen Assist 2:04 p.m. Monday, on Aventura and Avenida Empresa. A woman said a man got out of his burgundy sedan and banged on the window of her Jeep Cherokee after she honked at him.
