Two men hanging out at Starbucks in Rancho Santa Margarita caused a customer to contact the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Wednesday afternoon. One of the men pretended to talk on his cell phone, according to an informant, telling an imaginary friend that he was making bombs and wanted to destroy buildings in New York.

The caller also complained that another patron was watching child pornography while listening to headphones. When deputies arrived to investigate, the porn-watching man had left, but another customer told them that the man was watching adult porn, not child, porn.

Deputies asked the first man about his suspicious cell phone conversation. The man claimed he was simply working on a screenplay. He was advised that he was no longer welcome to visit that Starbucks.
