Police Blotter: Cook's Corner Is No Place For This Bull

Also, an early morning brawl results in a broken nose, and gunshots ended up being people lighting off fireworks.

How many times have we seen a movie that included a bull with a bad disposition?

A man spotted a bull running loose in the bike lane—on the appropriately named El Toro Road on Sunday morning—about 500 yards south of Cook’s Corner in Trabuco Canyon. Fully understanding the damage that can be wrought by the business end of a bull, the informant contacted both Animal Control and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, hoping for assistance.

The man called back 20 minutes later saying that Animal Control had arrived and corralled the bull.
