Police Blotter: Elderly Roommates Brawl in Their Apartment

Also, a woman thinks she sees the "Snowboarder Bandit" near an RSM bank.

Two women in their eighties were engaged in battle inside their Rancho Santa Margarita apartment earlier this week. One of the women called the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Thursday morning, saying that her roommate had kicked her out of their room at the Fountain Glen Apartments without her oxygen tank after an argument.

Later that evening, the Orange County Fire Authority needed assistance at the same address, due to a call for medical aid. While responding to that call, a fight broke out between the patient and her roommate. Deputies arrived and arrested an 82-year-old woman who is being held on $10,000 bail at the Intake Release Center.

Several hours later, the other woman called back, complaining that she was short of breath, because she thought her roommate had returned. The OCFA transported her to a hospital.
