Police Blotter: Evicted Rapper Busted Upon Return

Also, youths throw tomatoes at passing vehicles in Las Flores.

A rapper who was evicted early July 12 from his apartment complex made a return engagement that afternoon—and was arrested.

A manager from the Villa La Paz apartment complex in Rancho Santa Margarita called Orange County Sheriff's deputies to say that the previous tenant had returned to the locked unit. The man, who allegedly broke the bedroom window to get access to the unit, refused to leave.

Deputies arrived and arrested 23-year-old Joshua Philip Eastman, who is also known locally as rapper JO. According to a hi5.com biography of someone with the same name and birthday, Eastman earlier this year released his first single, "4 the Hustlas," and is to be in a documentary called Lake Amsterdam for Evergreen.

He has not been convicted of any these charges and has pleaded not guilty to several.
