Sometimes you have to be ready for the confrontation when you go looking for it. That was the case last week after an incident of road rage and one driver pulled a knife on another driver.

An informant followed the knife-wielding driver of a black Toyota sedan to a driveway on Desert Thorn on Tuesday.

The caller sat in his locked Nissan Titan while waiting for deputies to arrive when a man came from the residence and approached the Titan. The man, who said he was the suspect's father, began arguing with the caller.
