Police Blotter: Man Masturbates in Front of Kids in RSM Library

Also, a man wants to force his neighbor to eat an egg, and teens shoot paintball guns at passing cars.

A staff member from the Rancho Santa Margarita Library said two juveniles were upset after seeing  a man masturbate in the library Monday evening.

The man was described as in his 60s, white, with a mustache, and was last seen wearing a brown flannel shirt and brown pants. The kids said they saw the man masturbating near the doors that face the park. 

According to another staff member, the man left the library before deputies arrived. Officers patrolled the area but could not locate the man.

The call came in around 8:45 p.m. on Monday, from the 30900 block of La Promesa.

A man said his neighbor was arguing violently with him before telling him that he was going to force him to eat an egg. The report doesn't say whether the egg in question would be hard-boiled or raw.

The call came in around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, from the 100 block of Via Contento.

Teens shoot paintball guns at cars

A caller saw a group of teens leave a loud party in RSM late Saturday night. The teens then began to use paintball guns to shoot at passing cars.

The call came in around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, from Robinson Ranch Road and Lindsay Drive.

The following is a summary report of calls from Rancho Santa Margarita, Coto de Caza, Trabuco Canyon and Las Flores to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from May 6 to May 9.

Trespassing 10:32 p.m. Monday, on Via Lampara. A woman said her niece and her niece’s husband were inside her residence without permission. The woman also said both of them were evicted over the weekend because of several complaints about violence coming from the residence.

Disturbance—Music or Party 10:13 p.m. Monday, on Via Amistosa. A caller reported hearing people yelling at a loud nearby party.

Disturbance 10:09 p.m. Monday, on Wrangler Court. A woman said her 11-year-old nephew had been pushing his mother because she would not let him use his cell phone.

Drunken Driving 8:55 p.m. Monday, on Santa Margarita Parkway and Avenida de las Flores. A caller saw a gray Frontier pickup with Arizona plates swerving and hitting curbs. The caller said the driver parked his car in the parking lot of the Santa Margarita Beach Club. Deputies arrived and arrested a 25-year-old man, who is being held on $500 bail at the Central Men's Jail.

Traffic Stop 11:57 p.m. Sunday, on Antonio Parkway and Avenida Banderas. Deputies arrested a 34-year-old man, who is being held on $25,000 bail at the Central Men's Jail.

Suspicious Person/Circumstances 9:17 p.m. Sunday, on Calle del Rio. A woman said she returned home from vacation and noticed that her front door was wide open.

Suspicious Vehicle 8:49 p.m. Sunday, 31900 block of Mill Stream Road. A caller said a black Ford was parked in the middle of the park, near the baseball field. Deputies arrived and determined that the car was owned by the field maintenance workers.

Suspicious Person/Circumstances 1:13 a.m. Sunday, 21400 block of High Country Drive. A woman said she saw a group of men walking up and down her street, looking into vehicles. Her neighbor then informed her that the same men were looking into her garage.

Disturbance 12:20 a.m. Sunday, on Pas del Sol. A man said his roommate was intoxicated and fighting with him. Deputies arrested a 52-year-old man.

Disturbance—Music or Party 10:05 p.m. Saturday, 31800 block of Old Hickory Road. A caller wanted deputies to look for about 60 people who were partying inside an empty home. The caller thought they had broken a window to get inside. 

Traffic Stop 4:37 p.m. Saturday, on San Benito and Alicia Parkway. Deputies arrested and released a 19-year-old woman.

Illegal Peddling 10:48 a.m. Saturday, on Santa Margarita Parkway and Buena Suerte. A man in a brown Honda Accord said two men approached him trying to sell stereo equipment.

Traffic Stop 10:57 p.m. Friday, on Santa Margarita Parkway and Buena Suerte. Deputies arrested a 32-year-old man.

Disturbance 9:48 p.m. Friday, 300 block of Pasto Rico. A caller reported hearing people playing a loud Nintendo Wii game in their garage.

Disturbance 6:38 p.m. Friday, on Tijeras Creek and Antonio Parkway. A caller wanted deputies to search Canada Vista park for a group of six adults who were drinking and arguing at the dog park.

Assault Report 12:49 p.m. Friday, 21800 block of Avenida de los Fundadores. A caller from Cielo Vista Elementary said two sixth-grade students were in a fistfight. One student had a tooth knocked out.

Suspicious Person in Vehicle 12:40 p.m. Friday, 22800 block of Avenida Empresa. A caller said he saw a man sleeping in his white Honda Civic. The sleeping man was clad only in his underwear.

Indecent Exposure 7:06 a.m. Friday, 22700 block of El Prado. A woman reported seeing a man masturbating in his silver Eclipse.
