Police Blotter: Man Urinates on Neighbor’s Lawn

Also, a woman tries to open doors on stopped vehicles before wandering into traffic in Las Flores.

A woman called the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Monday afternoon, because she saw a man urinate on her neighbor’s lawn. The man then got into his black Mustang, which had been parked in front of the caller’s Coto de Caza home for five hours.  Deputies briefly detained the man before releasing him.

The woman had called the sheriff’s department earlier that morning to report that an unfamiliar black Mustang was parked in front of her house. 

The first call came in around 7:45 a.m. on Monday, and the second call came in around 12:45 p.m. Both calls originated from the 23800 block of Via Roble.

Woman tries to open doors on stopped vehicles

Two calls came in to the OCSD on Thursday evening about a woman who was behaving erratically on Antonio Parkway in Las Flores. The woman, wearing a red baseball cap, jeans, and a green jacket, was first seen trying to open doors on cars that were stopped on Antonio Parkway and Morning Trail.

An hour later, someone reported seeing the same woman wander into traffic on Antonio Parkway near Kindercare.

The first call came in around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, and the second call came in around 7:30 p.m. Both calls came from Oso Parkway and Antonio Parkway.

The following is a summary report of calls from Rancho Santa Margarita, Coto de Caza, Trabuco Canyon and Las Flores to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from March 21 to March 24.

Citizen Assist 3:02 p.m. Thursday, 100 block of Sable. A woman said her ex-husband was hounding her with obscene telephone calls. 

Suspicious Person/Circumstances 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, on Oso Parkway and Solano. A caller thought that the bearded man he saw waving his arms around while sitting on a bench looked suspicious. Deputies arrived and transported the man to the Laguna Hills transportation center.

Disturbance 2:16 p.m. Wednesday, on Cherry View Road. A caller was involved in a brawl with a former friend.

Traffic Stop 11:49 a.m. Tuesday, on Coto de Caza Drive and Cantamar. Deputies arrested a 28-year-old man, who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

Drunken Driving 8:29 p.m. Tuesday, on Spring View Way. A caller said her son’s friend was drunk and was driving his silver Honda Element to Big Lots to get more alcohol. 

Unknown Trouble 6:29 p.m. Monday, on Antonio Parkway and Deerpath. A caller said his Volkswagen van was out of gas.

Vandalism Report 3:45 p.m. Monday, on Legacy Way. A caller reported an incident of vandalism at his residence.
