Police Blotter: Son’s Violent Temper Tantrum Upsets Mother

Also, a woman comes home to a strange dog.

The apparent lust for a night of gaming brought out the worst in a young Rancho Santa Margarita man, who threw the kind of temper tantrum that may indicate he has some issues far deeper than the need to get online.

A woman called the Orange County Sheriff's Department to report that her 19-year-old son had a fit early Sunday morning, throwing a temper tantrum in which he argued with his mother before pinning her arms down. The son also took her laptop, phone, and car keys.

The man was angry because she had taken away his XBox, which he eventually retrieved. She thought he might have been intoxicated, because she found a bottle of tequila in his room.
