Police Blotter: Hikers Interrupted By Herd of Cows

Also, a neighbor throws an interesting object at an informant (you'll never guess).

A young woman and her friends were walking on a trail behind Tesoro High School early Wednesday afternoon, when they found themselves in the middle of a herd of cows.

According to the informant, everywhere the group wandered, the cows would follow. Here a moo, there a moo, everywhere a moo-moo.

The cows continued to close in on the group, to within 15 or 20 feet.
