The bridge is at the end of the Los Alisos on-ramp to the northbound 241, which is parallel to the dam of the Upper Oso Reservoir, just a few hundred yards from the Rancho Santa Margarita border.

The apparent suicide was called in to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department at 9:16 a.m. after a witness watched the victim go over the east side of the bridge closest to the reservoir.
