A case of road range got a little scary for a local driver.
According to the blotter of the Orange County Sheriff's Department, some reckless driving on the southbound 241 toll road ignited an incident between two men during the Wednesday commute home.
According to the blotter, a man in a dark blue late model Ford F-150 was driving recklessly on the toll road. The two drivers exited at Santa Margarita Parkway and it was there they engaged in an apparently one-sided dialogue.
According to the informant, the man in the pickup flashed a knife at him and said "I'm going to stab you," as well as "I just got out of jail but I don't mind going back."
He then drove away and was last seen turning into the parking lot of L.A. Boxing, which opened recently in Interchange Plaza.
The informant called 9-1-1 at 5:48 p.m., about 10 minutes after the threat took place.
She wants to drive and he disagrees
A man and wife were in a physical dispute on Thursday, about 5:45 p.m. The wife claimed her husband hit her and tore her shirt. The fight was over his unwillingness to give her the car keys.
The call came at 5:48 p.m. from the 100 block of Via Contento.
Asking for a cup of sugar would be less suspicious
An informant contacted OCSD to report two men in their mid-20s. According to the report, they were knocking on the doors of houses and telling people they just wanted to meet the neighbors.
