Have You Seen This Man?

An older gentleman went out to walk his dog but never came back. Police are asking for the public's help finding him.

A 67-year-old man has gone missing in Mission Viejo, said Orange County Sheriff's Department Lt. Jim England, and police services want Rancho Santa Margarita residents to be on the lookout for him.

The gentleman went missing near Casta Del Sol in Mission Viejo, which is not far from the intersection of Alicia and Marguerite parkways.

The man left his home on the 28000 block of Espinoza on Friday, about 3 p.m., to walk a chocolate Labrador and a mixed shepherd puppy. The man is described as 6', 180 pounds, with gray hair, a beard and glasses. He was last wearing a red, white and blue flannel shirt.

The saearch thus far has included the OCSD helicopter and three bloodhounds.

Anyone who spots the missing man is encouraged to call police services at 949-425-1900.

A commenter on another Patch indicated that the man and one of his dogs was found in Aliso Viejo. A mostly happy ending for all.
