There Was One Smelly Problem, and It Wasn't Diapers

There are some things you can have at a party for a 2-year-old, and some things you can't.

We all know about the terrible twos, that age when cute babies start becoming a bit more jaded and take it out on their parents.

Still, a birthday is a birthday, and any parents worth their salt would want a great day for their child to celebrate. Especially the second birthday because everything will change thereafter.

According to the blotter of the Orange County Sheriff's Department, a woman contacted police services because she was getting ready to throw a party for her toddler son.

But everything wasn't perfect. There was something lit at a neighbor's home but it wasn't a candle, and the wafting smell wasn't popcorn or cotton candy.

The neighbor was smoking marijuana, which the woman deemed completely inappropriate. She wanted a deputy to talk to the neighbor and tell him to knock it off while the kids were having their party.

The call was made Sunday, 4:54 p.m., from Via Caseta.

This report was culled from the Orange County Sheriff's website. Not all facts in each report are made public; the outcome of the report may differ from the original blotter item. There should be no assumption of guilt based on this limited information.
