What Happens in Vegas Happens in RSM

A Rancho Santa Margarita resident returns home and is shocked by what he sees.

A Rancho Santa Margarita resident may not have lost his shirt in Las Vegas, but he wasn't so lucky when he returned home.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, a local resident returned from Las Vegas on Sunday, about midnight, and found that his home had been robbed.

According to the victim, the crooks took jewelry and medication.

The victim valued the loss at about $42,000.

The call to OCSD was made Monday, about 12:15 a.m., from Via Ulmaria.
