An Oakland man on parole for pimping in Orange County was sentenced today to seven years in state prison for attempted human trafficking and pimping.

Eric Dejuan McMillian, 33, allegedly bragged about his pimping to an undercover Anaheim police officer -- whom he believed to be a 17-year-old girl - - while on parole from a 2012 pimping case in Orange County, according to the Orange County District Attorney's office.

He is accused of befriending the undercover officer on Facebook and persuading the "girl" to work for him as a prostitute, according to Deputy District Attorney Daniel Varon of the county's Human Trafficking Task Force.

McMillian told the "girl" to travel from Orange County to Oakland to continue working for him, all the while bragging about his pimping activities on Facebook and Twitter, Varon said.

He was arrested in October 2013 and he pleaded guilty to the two felony counts in May.

"my church feeds and takes care of people and families in need by providing for them" What's the REAL reason your church does that? Could it be A) Good PR to attrach more members (who contribute), B) A means to score points with god, C) Both A and B?

So, Sew Good can't read. Where did Reverend Fischer write human trafficing is OK? Laws against prostitution are a violation of human rights.

Andy, I mean you can complain about religion all you want and I'm not sure why you feel like religion has to validate anything for you, but can you name any pimps who help others? Do you ever help other people in need?

I'm agnostic and haven't attended church in years. I don't believe in organized religion, but bringing in religion into this is pretty unnecessary, inappropriate and random.
